I’m taking a break from music making to pursue another project this summer.
With my new album Infinite now released at Bandcamp, I’ve got another project on the front burner. My wonderful wife Danita has a website devoted to the genealogy of her mother’s family. The site, called “Casto Connections,” is actually older than Google! In fact, this year marks its 25th anniversary. She’s added a lot of stuff to the site over its quarter century of existence, and most of it was built with (drum roll, please!) . . . Front Page Extensions!
For those who remember what that is, you understand why I’m now undertaking to rebuild her site from the ground up. I want to make it more responsive so that people with phones can use it without putting their screens under a microscope! Also, while I was reviewing the site, I found a lot of things that were broken. They need to be fixed.
While I’m rebuilding Casto Connections to run in WordPress, I won’t be working on any music. However, I have some ideas for selling my work that will be germinating in my head over the summer. Maybe, I’ll have some news to share come fall.
