I’m excited to share some info on my latest software purchase. It’s a synth from Wide Blue Sound called Elysium. This tool uses a “two layer” concept to allow you to create complex sounds with movement and rhythm. I got inspired and created a new track that’s in curation now at Pond5. I call the track “Starting Now.”
My newest single “Morning Walk In The Sunshine” is out now. It’s a nice jaunty little groove with some electronics, some percussion and a little improv going on.
My new release Extasis will be available to download/stream in most music outlets July 10. Stylistically speaking, the new album is a follow-up to Circadia, and goes further down the ambient/new age path.
Here’s a track list for the new album:
Lauds
Fragrance of a Future Sea
For Deloras
The Golden Hour
Extasis
Sleepless Dream
Tender Warrior
The Corner of Luna
I’m releasing Extasis through DistroKid, and you can follow it (and me) here.
For Asia-based podcasters looking for professional-sounding music for their podcasts, I’ve just added a set of my corporate podcast intros to my collection at MotionElements. These include Corporate Podcast Intros 1-6; each has its own short theme, loop and logo/bumper. You can find my ME artist page here.
I’ve also created collections of my corporate podcast intros, for those who want to use related music or who produce more than one podcast and would like a price break for buying multiple items. The price points range from US$59 to US$139 and the collections include one, two or three intros, loops and logo/bumpers. You can check them out at the links below.
I hope everyone is well. I’m currently sheltering in place as many of you are doing due to the new coronavirus. I’ve uploaded a few new things to my Pond5 portfolio. My latest is “Optimistic Future,” which is available in full :60, :30, :15. :06 bumper and loop versions,
Optimistic Future (Full Version)
You can find it and other goodies in my Pond5 portfolio. I’m hearing a lot of warm reassuring music in the background behind covid spots these days and am thinking about trying to produce some stock music items along those lines.
I’m also working on ambient tracks. Here’s a bit from something I put together that I call “Just Before Morning.”
Just Before Morning (Excerpt)
I may release something this spring. Haven’t decided yet. Until then, stay home. Be safe and well.
I’ve been MIA for awhile. I had some medical issues and spent a month in the hospital, including Thanksgiving, but made it home for Christmas. There are definitely some changes. I’ve lost a lot of weight, primarily water. Also, I’ve been in rehab to try and regain some strength after suffering a stroke and being diagnosed with heart failure. With a change in diet and some exercise, though, I hope to still be around for quite a while.
I also got a new computer and am working on migrating my production tools over to it, soI hope soon to be creating new music. I’ll try to keep everyone updated here on timelines. I hope you’ve been in good health and that that continues for you,
I’m happy to announce the upcoming release of a new EP, titled Warts And All. This is a departure for me, since it gets into my singer-songwriter side. The plan is for the EP to release exclusively on Bandcamp November 1. In the meantime, I plan to talk a little bit about the material here over the next couple of weeks.
I’ll be uploading a new cover and lyric video of one of the tracks to YouTube later today. Next week, I’ll be uploading a preview of the full EP. I hope you’ll check it out! Click the link to the Warts And All EP page for details.
