Over the past several years, I’ve been trying to use social media to promote my musical endeavors. After all the goofiness started over on Twitter, it made me reexamine my SM habits.
I’ve reached the conclusion that my social media efforts have not really produced a lot of results. Therefore, starting now I will be scaling back my social media. I will be deactivating my @Thisbrucesmith account on Twitter. I’ll also be disengaging from LinkedIn. I’ll probably be spending more time on Mastodon and Reddit (and maybe Pinterest).
