I have some new stock music to share. For now, it’s available exclusively at Pond5. The latest music includes something contemporary, a throwback to the ragtime era and tracks for Christmas videos and holiday media projects.
“Big Plans”
“Big Plans” is a contemporary, vibrant track that exudes optimism for the future. Here’s the full version.
“Big Plans” is also available to license in sixty second, thirty second, fifteen second and six second bumper edits.
“Piano Rag”
I originally created an abridged version of “Piano Rag” to serve as the theme music for a podcast I produced on the history of the Dayton Triangles football team. Recently, I was approached by Darin Hayes of Pigskin Dispatch inquiring whether he could use the music for a podcast he’s involved in producing. I recreated and expanded the original music, and here’s the full, ninety second version of that.
This track is also available to license in thirty second and fifteen second edits.
New Christmas Music
Finally, I’ve added arrangements of two popular Christmas carols to my holiday music collection.
“Away in a Manger (Orchestral Arrangement)”
This arrangement of “Away in a Manger” features flute and English horn backed by an ensemble of strings and harp, using the setting most popular in the United States. There are three verses. The first verse has the melody in the flute, the second in the English horn. In the third verse, the countermelody in the English horn sort of hints at the melody of the English setting of the carol. I used IK Multimedia’s Miroslav Philharmonik 2 to create this arrangement.
“Silent Night (Electronic Ambient Arrangement)”
In contrast with “Away in a Manger,” where I envisioned the arrangement using traditional instruments, my arrangement of “Silent Night” explicitly uses electronic sounds to produce an ambient, New Age-y sort of atmosphere.
I hope you’ll find these pieces of music useful in your upcoming media projects.
